Welcome to The Pied Dog Walker! My name is Steven Watson and I've been passionately walking dogs since 1996. With nearly three decades of experience under my belt, I know how to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes, especially those high-energy pups who love to play fetch and frisbee!

In 2019, I started gaining media attention for my unique approach to dog walking. I don’t just walk dogs; I turn everyday outings into breathtaking photo opportunities. My skills as a photographer allow me to pose dogs in jaw dropping & pleasing compositions against stunning Beacon Hill backdrops, showcasing the beautiful architecture of our neighborhood. Whether it's a charming school, class like picture or an incredible portrait at the Boston Common, I can make it happen.

In 2021, I went viral when a passerby filmed me posing dogs on Boston’s Longfellow Bridge. That moment spotlighted what sets my service apart: no one does what I do, blending expert handling with creative, memorable photography.

Now based in San Francisco, I’m bringing that same energy, care, and creativity to the West Coast. As a former cross country runner and lifelong outdoorsman, I love sharing outdoor adventures with dogs, keeping them active, happy, and looking their best.
